ABOUT

Originally from Kelowna BC, Riley started working in the steel fabrication industry while he was still in high school, working night shifts and weekends to make some extra gas money at the time, but quickly realized his passion for fabrication and the fulfillment of building things from scratch.

Over the past 13 years, Riley has worked in a number fab shops and construction sites from Vancouver Island and Kelowna, to Kamloops and Fort McMurray, where he gained perspectives to many sides of the steel fabrication and accompanying industries. In 2013 Riley received his Interprovincial Red Seal for welding and became a journeyman.

Now the owner/operator of Interurban Ironworks, Riley continues to use his education and experience within industry, and curiosity towards new building methods and trends to make customers visions come to life.

Interurban Ironworks is situated in a very authentic and unique location. Riley's shop stands in one of the oldest buildings of Victoria, British Columbia, with a long and rich history on the Inner Harbour.
